After School Care

The Monroeville Area YMCA in partnership with the Monroeville Elementary invites your child to join us for our after school program. Your child will have time for homework, arts & crafts, outdoor play, games, snack, meeting friends, and relaxing. Our trained staff provides high and low energy activities in a warm, caring environment. Both programs are on the schools compass. The YMCA will provide your child with an afternoon snack. They will have access to the playground and a secure indoor facility.

The after school program is offered to students K3 - 5th grade Monday through Friday until 6:00pm. Monroeville Middle school students will be transported by bus to the Monroeville Elementary School.

There is a one-time $15 registration fee and a weekly fee of $30 for Monroeville Area YMCA members and $40 for non-members. These fees apply to a full week; no daily fees apply. There is a $5 per week discount when registering more than one child per household.

Martha Salter is our after school program director at MES. She has many years of childcare experience through the YMCA as well as the Monroe County Board of Education.
