Mockingbird 8K Race and Fun Run
Our annual Mockingbird 8K Race and 1 mile Fun Run will take place this year on Saturday, April 28th.  The 8K race begins at 8:00 a.m. and will start and finish at the YMCA on South Mount Pleasant Ave.  The 1 mile fun run/walk will start at 9:00 a.m. 

For those that have been training over the winter months, this race will be a good test of how well they have been doing.  For those that have just started their spring training, the race should be a good indicator for the races later on in the spring and early summer.  For those that have not been training, this will be a good opportunity for them to get out and be amongst fellow runners. Registration forms are being mailed to last years' participants and are also available at the YMCA. 

Entry Fee:
Thru April 15th: $20 (8K) - $10 (Fun Run)
April 16th - April 27th: $25 (8K) - $15 (Fun Run)
Race Day: $30 (8K) - $20 (Fun Run)

8K AWARDS:
Top Male and Female Overall, Top Male and Female in each age group: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Shirts: To guarantee a shirt on race day, your application must be received by April 20th.
